Every five years, there is a Doucet/Doucette reunion in conjunction with a Congrès Mondial Acadien.  In 1994, the Doucet family was invited to join with the Vautour family for a reunion on August 13 and 14 in southeastern New Brunswick, in Richibucto.  In 1999, during the second Congrès Mondial Acadien which was held in Louisiana, the Doucet/Doucette reunion was held on August 7 and 8 in Opelousas.   The Doucet/Doucette reunion during Congrès Mondial Acadien 2004 was held in Church Point, Nova Scotia, on August 1 and 2.  The next Congrès Mondial Acadien will be held in 2009 in the Acadian Peninsula of New Brunswick, the northeastern part of that province.  On the above pages we post photos of reunions and information on upcoming ones, as it is made available.
